I could try to pen a love song
But no words would ever do
To tell you how much your love
Has made me feel like new

You've opened up my eyes
And soothed my aching heart
How often my thoughts turn to you
During the times we are apart

So much love I have for you
Though you're so many miles away
So many treasured memories I have
Deep inside they'll always stay

I'll light a candle to our love
And keep love's fire burning bright
Thoughts of you will come to me
From the moment I turn out the light
