I woke up in the ring.
Too many faces in too few rooms
with no place to hide in.

Sometimes,
There's a lucky punch.
That leaves me dangling and tangled
among the ropes.
Wide open for slaughter.

A gush of blood then would be an ejaculation.
And my absence?
Less conspicuous than an excuse.
