Many times I write of romance
Describing tender affairs of the heart
Sometimes I may write of heartache
Of two souls who have drifted apart

So absorbed I become in my writing
As I paint a picture of two people in love
Holding hands beneath the moonlight
How they fit together like hand in glove

For the most part I write of deep devotion
About two lovers who share the same heart
So besotted are they with one another
New chapters in their lives about to start

As the reader you must sometimes wonder
Is this fiction or is this fact?
Am I writing about my own life?
About the love that maybe I lack

So if it's all the same to you
I'd like to continue writing my words of love
Let us journey through the realms of romance
On the wings of a beautiful white dove

Beautiful Sue! I think we all have our favourite subjects we write about. I write a lot about lost love and people probably wonder if that part of my life is true or not. Perhaps it is a subject that comes easier to the writer, tis all.
