You prodded me for so long
I finally crashed to the ground
you, relentless and persistent,
as I fell without a sound

Woodpeckers don't break their beaks
while pecking for food in a tree
but you have broken my spirit
when you failed to let me be

Escape from you is fruitless
you’ve followed my every action
I give up, I can no longer fight
your passionate attraction

Mindlessly I live each day
freedom is a word I once knew
love is just jaded memory
since I felt the ‘love’ of you

Death will be my final leap
from the hell here in this life
but hell will be a better world
than this is, as your wife.

"but hell will be a better world
than this is, as your wife."

This sums it up pretty well!  That is exactly what I felt when I left my marraige.  Death seems beautiful at the time.  It's a good thing that we live in a world where that isn't our only option.  Leaving and rebuilding our lives is so much more appealing.

Fantanstic write!!!

Just believe...

(big hugggsssssss) Oh dear, I am so sorry you had to go through all of this but I am also so proud of you and the courage you had to stand up to him and say how you felt. (sad sigh) Love can sometimes be so hollow, but I hope now you have found a true love you can closely and comfortably relate to! (kiss on cheek) We all love you so much, sweet friend, this is fabulous! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet friend, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton
