Dearest,
I had not the pleasure
of thy company, last eve,
as the screen of darkness overcame.
And I, I reached to hold onto...
And you, You were not there.

The galloping steeds, pounding out doom,
mine eyes deceiving, seeing white,
when only blackness lay before me.

The screaming so intense, shivers
caused me to wrap mine own arms around.
Mine upper body leaning forward
in comfort of oneself.

I peeked behind closed eyes,
eyes tearing the hurt and pain
of the little ones seeking, coveting,
on their long journey.
Through the wooded lands,
across streams and bridges, followed
slowly, wearily watching, waiting,
exhausted by vision's end.

I had not the pleasure of thy company
last eve, You were not there in touch.
But mine eyes caught the guise of thee,
upon the darkened screen,
and for a moment,
I felt cloaked, in warmth.

Always
Lady Ollyne

I have missed your letters, and this is, as always, as exquisite as the others.  Tie them in ribbon, and keep them always...

Lady,
when you write... the world stands still. I was caught in this moment of wonder.

I can almost picture him, opening the letter, anticipation pouring over his brow,
his hands shaking and reading, tears in his eyes and love growing in his heart.
This is so beautiful, it may sound old-fashioned to some, but not to me.  I love this kind of writing.

So enchantingly beautiful. Somehow, I have missed the previous letters you have written, but I shall keep an eye out for them in future. I love the old fashioned quality in this.

Lady K,
Mine heart is ribboned bound,
as are the words in letters
once returned to me
by the dove of white
upon my sill, but now
lost in the heavens blue.
They will forever remain
a part of me.
Thank  you,
Lady Ollyne

Lady Z,
