One Pillow
~~~
The hour close
to darkest night
though rest I rarely sow there
Is seldom more
than passing spite
since light refused to glow there
Elusive facts
expressed
distracts
and ultimately
love reacts
Companions meant to be
in fact ...
Will very seldom
grow there
~~~

Sometimes it's worth a read, or two, to extract the full meaning of feathered comfort...well done.  And good to have you back home.  You've been missed...

can't pick out what I
like most about this...

because I felt it all.

It was not my lips you kissed, but my soul."

If it weren't for the fact that I enjoyed this poem and can see real talent in putting it together form-wise, I'd be constrained to reply to a resident of the city I was born in.

Well done sir.  The words ring trus and the constuction only serve to increase their impact.
