Castles Over The Rainbow (A Villanelle)
By: Noah Eaton
1/19/02

Here in these castles over the rainbow
Fevered in lavender cupid showers
Where lovers embrace in meadows of gold

Listen as the alabaster bells toll
High upon the lovely lady's tower
Here in these castles over the rainbow

In this lush garden you enlighten my soul
Within your heather I will embower
Where lovers embrace in meadows of gold

You wear my dreams and hopes as your hairbows
You sacrifice your tears for fresh flowers
Here in these castles over the rainbow

Suckling your lips honey, holding you close
Migrating heavens, building joys power
Where lovers embrace in meadows of gold

Caressing your loins in the rosewood rain
Under tangerine skies that slowly wane
Where lovers embrace in meadows of gold
Here in these castles over the rainbow

What a pretty picture you write Noah.
The splendor was breathtaking.

Noah,

This is so lovely!  You always have such a way with words - so eloquent, and flowing, and romantic ... my mind is always flooded with vivid images whenever I read your work.  Each line just seems to uplift my heart.  Wonderful.
