She can’t see,
Visions are lost from all view,
Colors gone,
Image gone,
She worries at what she’ll do.
All is still,
All is still,
Motionlessly she will try,
By just touch,
She’s lost much,
Frightened she will start to cry,
She can’t see,
Memories are fading too.

(sad sigh) Oh Aszard, this is so so sad, my heart cries out to all these people who feel this way and I pray they can cling to hope and keep all their memories and joys dear to their hearts! (big hugggssssss) So heartbreaking but well-written, sweet friend, my heart is with you! You have such  abeautiful heart, sweet Aszard, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,

Such of moving poem of sadness.  So vivid to see the distress.  I pray God will help each person who is faced with such sadness, get through.  God Bless  Roger

Thank you, strbbux,
Lost of sight is shattering to the soul at times,
Especially when it’s the inner sight too

Thank you, Mistletoe Angel,
For taking the time to read and respond.

Thank you, thepoeticplumber,
I believe God helps those that help themselves,
But will always guide the lost.

Thank you, Serenity,
Movement with words becomes easy with repeating,
Similar to walking down a dark hall,
After a few thousand times, it doesn’t matter if it’s dark,
The walk is familiar.

Utterly sad.  In literally picking this up, I thought to myself, even if blind, I imagine I could still see red...figuratively speaking, I would rather be literally blind, as opposed to being blind to life...

Interesting read.  Much food for thought here.
