Close to love

The breeze of intuition warmly blows
Against your face with magic of the night
Awakening the senses now exposed
Just as a flower opens to the light

Intuitively nature takes its hold
Unwrapping sentiments so long suppressed
Unveiling thoughts you’d saved in petal’s fold
And beauty of the love you have possessed

The fragrance of your essence is his breath
And now aware the beauty of the bloom
Impulsively his eyes from in their depth
Search for the rose they’re longing to consume

The balm of your bouquet, adornment of
A heart aware it lingers close to love

"A heart aware
it lingers close to love"
lovely are you words, as always,

Elizabeth, so sorry to be late in saying how much this pleases me...being without a computer is like losing a lifeline...

warm hugs...just like this warmed me...
