It is a quarter past
.......my heart,
and an hour
past my soul.Time
has left its remnants
.....and its joys.
Its magic,
and its confusion.
Yet, within
the precious beats
of seconds and minutes,
life is ticking,
ticking, ticking away
into the heart of God,
moments of living.
Life is fragile...
easily broken,
fading into the paths
......of yesterday.

A quarter past my heart,
an hour past my soul,
time weaves its magic web
built on the gossamer wings
.........of eons.

A beautiful poem, Ivy Rose. Time is very precious, and ticks away so rapidaly. Our most precious resource, but oh how it's wasted. Thanks for sharing.

It does go swiftly...and this shows we can never capture it...

(sigh) Sooooooo beautifuily said, sweet friend, time does indeed have a tendency to pass us by so quickly, but as long as we spread our gossamer wings with joy and faith, every single second will be worth it and we will find time being our friend always! (kiss on cheek) We all love you so much, sweet friend, this is beautiful! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Ivy, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

Ivy, this is a wonderful, wonderful metaphor. Not only the title
but the entire piece.  I don't think I've read something
this original in a long time.

A haunting set of images and concepts.  A creative metaphore and a touching poem.
