My fountain pen travels like a raging river
flowing with dolor clouds and melancholy skies
sometimes it flows with free verse and rhyme
in fables of pink, lemon golds and lime
in ballads of purple, and legends of plums
flowing with scarlet roses and birds that hum
Enchanting ink flows over large boulders
over banks and beneath weeping willow trees
stops to admire a water lily
rushes past melodious bumble bees
aquamarine ink flows and will not meet
the final point of no return
scribbles along the Colorado river
Never to dry..Nor to blot..No.. Not ever

You can complain because roses have thorns, or you can rejoice because thorns have roses.

raging....and yours is doing wonderfully.

Victoria,
What a wonderful river of rainbow dreams painting your poetic scenes. Very nice.

Reminds me of a painting by my favorite artist Jim Warren, called "Natures Little Helper".  Here is the URL - http://www.aejv.com/war-p26.htm
