            “BILLY AND ME”
                       by

Billie was my first, and only true love,
thought she came from, heaven above…
She was young and innocent, as I,
with kisses sweeter, than apple pie…

One night we lay, together by the lake,
we knew each other, until mornings break…
Some time later, Billie gave us a son,
my heart felt, the new life that had begun…

One day I told her, I was moving away,
Billie asked me why, was nothing I could say…
So she went too, but down another road,
seems like yesterday, though it was years ago…

Billie I clearly made, two foolish mistakes,
leaving you both, and now my heart aches…
Perhaps tomorrow, we’ll again embrace,
maybe another time, and another place…

Yes maybe another time and place. You know, life is ironic, sometimes when you take a separate path from someone else you wind up meeting up again somewhere down the line.
Don't give up hope!

Interesting Bill...there was a Billie in my life also...she was the first love of my life...she lived in California and moved to Bullhead City after she graduated from High School...I took her to her Senior Prom...
I went through a period of time when I wanted to relocate her...James

How often does this happen...two people love each other, but take separate paths in life. Then, later, regret it...wonder what happened to the other. Been there...done that...wondering.

If she who dies with the most toys wins, then can I have some toy boys please?

Whether this is true or not, Bill you always weave your words together well. I always enjoy it and look for you when you are here writing. Memories are wonderful, but sometimes we have to move on. This week I begin that move, a slow start but I hope to be smiling more by the end of the week. I will save one for you. *s

We either grow together or we grow apart - It's sad when we don't see that we're going separate ways soon enough, isn't it??.. You're a strong person, Bill - Hang on - because you can...
