A pretty flower
Swaying peacefully through breeze
Reminds me of you
And the color change of leaves
I'm a bare tree without you

How delightful!    I'm glad you said bare tree  and not berry tree....that would have messed up the rhyme, not to mention the visuals, not to mention berries are usually on bushes, though some do grow on trees. LOL
Sorry, just being my usual looney tunes self.

A beautiful tanka, inspired by a beautiful guy. Very pretty Joanna. Both of you are inspiring each other very prettily tonight

If she who dies with the most toys wins, then can I have some toy boys please?

Isn't he just the most inspiring soul? And how great you've written your verse. Really beautiful brevity. Perfectly written in love.

Sincerely,
