"My Happiness" (Dedicated to My Youngest son, Cody) You're my blessing, my love, my joy, and I thank God everyday for giving me such a precious little boy.... We've had it ruff, you and I, Been through more then I thought we'd ever bare, But it's all because of you I've made it, For I knew, for you I had to be there.... You've given me strength when I needed it the most, For having you, gave me reason to continue on. I've been blessed in many ways I guess, but mostly for having you as my son.... I want you to know I love you with all of my heart, I want that love to remain with you, Weather we be together or apart.... When I'm gone, and you look back on your younger years, Remember your mamas' love, and shed no tears, For you're my happiness, and happiness is all I ever want for you, So live your life to the fullest, and to thine own heart be true.... You are so welcome, and thank you for the kind reply....this is for my baby boy, he's eighteen. I loss my oldest son in 1996 to a tragic drowning, and both my boys have been the inspiration to most of what I write... Thank you again.....  ~lewisone~ |
