Behind The Door

Where there is light
there maybe insight
but not always
same as the night

For what is seen
may not be what it seems
but not always
only the end justifies the means

You know the score
and plenty more
but not always
until you look behind the door

Space of any size
unseen by the unwise
but not always
within is where the truth lies

Time takes its toll
weakening the soul
but not always
happiness the ultimate goal

You know the score
and plenty more
but not always
until you look behind the door

We are the only ones who can truly make us happy.  Once we accept ourselves, we can accept others.  Nicely done.

It can be scary to look behind the door, but it can also be exhilarating and hold a world of wonders. Interesting thoughts here, I like this

Ctowen,

I thank you for sharing your wisdom.. you do it so well.   To many people walk away instead of opening the door.. afraid to risk.. and they don't know what they might lose out on.  It is a shame.  Wonderful write.

Hugs,
Tara
