I brushed against your dreams
In the words you shared
And was dusted with them
Just as if on a cold day
I had passed beneath the limbs
Pine green and powder

There was beauty
In each refraction of light
That floated to settle
Leaving a chill when it touched
Bared places I could not cover

Rain bowed reflections
Danced as phrases hung suspended
And touched my lips in settle
Of light sequence,
Melting one by one
Absorbed slowly with each dart of tongue
To feed a fire for more

Now,
Laden with thoughts and fuel
I find no hearth to lie
No match to strike
Left with Foxfire Dreams
Of my own

This is more than lovely.  This is to be kept for whenever one doubts one's self, to believe again, in

magic...

Thank you for the vivid imagery which always inspires me to find my own ways to express in my writings.  Good to read you again, Ron.

There is MUCH warmth found here in these words....
This is so lovely...
superb employ of imagery and poetic anology to define the emotions...
your gift of imagery and soft spoken phrases
always impress poet sir.
This offering proves my words true.

Thank you for the gracious reply on my last post. Your kindness is appreciated

I would wait till the end of time for you,
Then do it all again ... it's true.
I can't measure my love for you,
There's nothing to compare it to.

Lady: Your kind words are greatly appreciated. If this in any way helps one to believe in themselves or magic... then I am honored.

Mark: Good to see you are also around. Been much too busy to spend the time here I would like, and have missed reading your words as well as those of all here. Thanks for such a gracious reply.

Serenity... Where have I been? Code and project he!! ( chuckling) Thanks for your nice words.

JM: Dear Poetess... you flatter me with your kindness and with your reply. Thank you sincerely for sharing them with me.

Catalina: Thank you for the nice words... hope to be around more soon depending on the work load and deadlines imposed by work.

I admire your words and aspire to your talent.  I think you should quit your day job and do this instead.  Buy a lottery ticket, ya never know.

This beginning alone is a keeper, but the more I read, the more I knew another one would be safely nestled into my Favorites.
Stunningly beautiful imagery, Ron.
