In a place called Baton Rouge town
many a thing could always go down
You gotta watch when poets stray
more happens than meets the light of day

Come on down to Baton Rouge
where the poets pause in pleasure
Counting the moments found
among the river of treasure

There is a word going around
about two poets that went on the town
Now who that could be is not to be known
but a lot of talking says it's set in stone

Along the river banks
they might be heard in *gentle sighs*
Ahhhhh, my poet friends
this is where the real beauty lies

Marge (and Logan),
You're going to have to offer course on "how to present poems at PIPs" #101. I think I'd sign up. Never been there but you have sparked an interest with your cute poem.

(smiles) We all love you and Logan so very much; this poem expresses a beautiful friendship and joy! (smiles) I love it! I've always dreamed about going down to Louisiana, it seems like such an inspiration place. I dream of seeing the architecture there and walking among the French Quarters! (smiles) BRAVO!!! I LOVE IT!!! (kiss on cheek) You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Marge, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,

Ahh, Little Goose, I have to say
we really had fun being this way
of course if asked, hmm, and were we not?
it is a puzzle of Gordian knot

And always a very gentle smile and hugs to you
