In Your Poetic Mind

The sky was
Brilliant that night
Diamonds shinning
And falling
Gently as the
Moon witnessed

I need release
I stand there again
Among the nature
Of all time letting
The air breathe my
Skin, feeling peace

I felt your eyes,
Saw your touch on
My skin, kissed
Away all my fears
Whispering
In silent tones
Of undying love

I hear your
Voice inside me now
In my strength
Of life, rain sometimes falls
Soaking deep in my soul

Our dance floor is empty
The pain of memories
Have slipped away
Though they are never strong
Enough to say goodbye

One last dance
One last love
One last night

Dancing on the ocean
with you

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
My Heart Always
Let the moon witness
And the oceans
Remain clam
For I find peace in
The memory of you
1992
greeneyes,
this is so moving and
so melancholy, you
express it all so well
in delicate images
Lauren,
This is a very tender peace.  The ocean does offer peace, but it's only a helpmate, for true peace can only come from within.  Your imagery in this is stunning, my friend.  Big (((((hugs)))))
I felt your eyes ...
I hear your voice ...
... soaking deep in my soul ...
Magnificent!!
That was no ramble of the mind,
but true words of a great heart.
Lauren, this is a beautiful memory you have shared.
"I need release
I stand there again
Among the nature
Of all time letting
The air breathe my
Skin, feeling peace"
This is pure poetic imagery.
