"Finding You"
a duet by
Marsha & Bill

Where did you go my love, you were here with me,
I had you beside me, and I lived on contentedly…
The days were filled with such soft memories,
and the nights echoed to my murmured pleas…
Now my days blur into emptiness, and I'm so lost,
why did you leave me, I can't bear my souls cost…

A love gone perhaps, but now I am here with you,
fear no more of one, which was not to be true…
Memories you will no longer have my love,
now only memories of us, softer than a dove...
Days I promise of your fulfillment, never again lost,
never will I leave you, never will I cross…

Where did you go my love, why move so far away,
I had you beside me, and wanted to endlessly play…
The months seemed to flash by, I was so happy,
and the time vanished, where did it go so quickly…
Now the hours last for months, and the days are years,
why did you leave me alone, in bitterness and tears…

Look to me for I am here, not to be distant,
beside you I will be, your fears will be absent…
Time will go on, but I give a lifetime of pleasure,
days will vanish but slowly, on this adventure…
An hour I will love you, every hour through the year,
you will never be alone, sadness will not again appear…

Where did you go my love, you seemed to disappear,
I had you beside me, and your presence calmed my fear…
The sun was endlessly golden, it warmed me all through,
and the moon's silver light caressed me, just like you…
Now the world is grey, the color has faded all away,
why did you leave me, that's all my heart can say…

A love that was lost forget, my love to you now is here,
beside you I will lie, and it will be very clear…
The sun may no longer warm you, my touch will,
and in the moonlit sky, loving you will be until…
Until the ends of time, the world for you I rearrange,
now finding you my love, your world I can change…

To give light to them that sit in darkness..... to guide our feet into the way of peace St John ch2 v1

*sigh* oh my gosh this is so romantic. I knew Bill and you wrote wonderfully passionate romantic poems but to see you together in this masterpiece leaves me in awe of the feelings your poem gives. Absolutely stunning. I love it.   **hugs**

Love I leave with you whether it is in your life now or yet the essense of your dreams.
