*I figured that since I posted my poem "You Killed Me" I should in all fairness post a good poem about the same man. He is my hubby after all.*

You are in my mind.
I can see your face.
I want your arms
around me
to hold me close,
and feel your breath
on my neck.
Come to me
in my dreams.
Pull me closer
to your body
and never
let go.
O need your strength,
your masculinity,
to make me
feel safe.
Protect me from
the cold, dark night
and comfort my soul.
Ease my fears
of being alone
and tell me
that you love me.
Let me know
that you need me, too.
To curl up next to me.
To bring your nights pleasure.
I am yours.
Tell me your dreams
and your pains.
Let me share
everything
with you.
Make me an essential
part of your life.
Where, if I were gone
there would be a void
in my place.
Let me
be your light of truth.
Your springboard
to greater things,
the one you can
run back to
in your times of peril
and doubt.
I will hold you up
and be your support.
Your days I will fill
with loving kindness
and give you the respect
you deserve.
I pray your life
is filled with
the best of things,
but even if it's not,
I will be
right there
beside you.
I give you
all of me.
My talents.
My love.
My sorrows.
My fear.
And all
that I may accomplish.
And all I ask
is that you be near me
and love me
until I am gone.
