Where Is The Child ?
~*Marge Tindal*~

Where is the child of yesterday
who played among the bowers ?
Where is the child who cried
among the wilt of flowers ?

The child of play that came to stay
within this heart for eternity~
Where is the child,
O' where is the child
that used to live inside of me ?

I need to return to the garden
where majestically grows the heather
to find the heart of that precious child
that I know lives forever ~

Sweet sisterofmyheart...I have seen her many times, stirring the embers of my heart with your poetry.  What a lovely poem...made me want to cry for my own child.  Hugs!

Marge, she is still there, you just need to know where to look. Maybe in Myrtle the Turtle or Beary, Beary Good Friends.   I know she is out there somewhere.

Many times I have basked in pure delight reading your poetry that is written in child-like wonder. You have been blessed with the gift of many moods of writing. Guess the little girl is asleep right now, but she'll return. Of this I am sure.

This one brought a tear Marge! That heart is there, and beating strongly. Take care!

This is really sweet and reflective. Where have we misplaced this child along the way? And could we find her again? I hope so. I juz became an adult 2 months ago, and I think adulthood is so much more boring, without some childish pranks.

We all have that sweet child within our hearts, Marge.. she merely has to be ready to come out and share all that she is with us and others. This poem touched my soul so very much.

Be blessed!

Kate

This is beautiful....Yes, don't we all like
to revisit the child...particularly on days
when being an adult is rough.

Bring the child that hides within
outside each day to play again
and frolic in the flowers of the past
for that helps make the good times last.

Thanks Marge!

She is still inside you as you clearly show from this tender poem. We are just afraid to let others see the child within for fear of them thinking we are acting foolish. When I go to the mountains, all alone, I am free to be who I am inside without fear of others seeing me and I splash happily in the icy streams. Now there you go...you went and brought my little child to the surface. Set her free, dear one...she is still there waiting to express the way she still see the world through innocent eyes. **hugs**

Love I leave with you whether it is in your life now or yet the essense of your dreams.

My Friends~
Sometimes the inspiration comes so easily ...
meant to be shared so that each reader can find what they need out of a piece~
How blessed I feel to see what each of you got out of this slice of my heart~

The child in us is to be cherished ... never forgotten ..

Thanks to each of you for giving me thanks that I am a poet~
