My eyes gaze into the depths of your own.
My search for truth, wisdom found within.
The deepest love sensed shines outward.
Let my eyes become your own and shine.

Without them I trod a lonely dark path.
Wandering aimlessly, no light shown.
You, my beacon are snuffed, I miss you.
Darkness dwells within me, I am blind.

Give me your light, your heart and soul.
Take me to the inner reaches of your eyes.
Let this man feel your warmth, vitality.
My desperation overwhelms my sight.

Loving you a pleasure, given freely
Losing you, vast emptiness invades.
Keeping your vision ever before me
I wish to again walk in your light.

Though I have walked ever blindly
I shall wander on, searching faithfully
I know I will be guided, be found.
My eyes, wide open, pave the way.

(smiles) Oh my gosh, this reminded me of that Peter Gabriel song, "Your Eyes", I know just how you feel. (smiles) All our instincts can return just by seeing the shimmering glow and love in ones eyes, and the hope that beacons with every glisten and the love that sparkles from every tear! (sigh) Sooooooo romantic, sweet friend, your words always glisten with loves essence! (big hugggsssss) You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Magnus, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

"snuffed"
That is how I feel today.
Enjoyed this poem though, Sir..as I do all of your work I've read so far.

Your storm of assumption feeds anger I am calm enough to hold inside. Don't pretend to know me if you've never put stretched out your heart with since

*sigh* ever you will be the sparkle in her eyes. Bringing to life the love that flows in her for you. Absolutely stunning, Magnus. True love does shine from the eyes. **hugs**

Love I leave with you whether it is in your life now or yet the essense of your dreams.

She's very blessed to have a faithful husband, believe me, I love this!

Sounds of a venture well taken.
I, for one, always believed that
the one place all of us search for in life is in the eyes of true love.

Your words reflect such a place.
My best, always, to you Magnus.

I have found myself wishing the very same thing many times. An emptiness so hard to express torments the soul when a loved one goes away.

A very touching write! Bravo!
Cheers

Kay...thank you...I try to remind myself
daily that she is a special part of my
life...even at our worst moments...I know
she needs me and that the children need me
more than anything else I could ever desire.

Terry,  glad you enjoyed this...Yep...the
quest for it sometimes can be a struggle..
Seems to have been going on for centuries..
