Dearest...

Can you not feel the thundering of my heart
The raggedness of my labored breathing.
Sense the moisture of my shaking palms
See the beauty of yourself in my eyes.

The finest wines have been tasted by lips
They do not compare to yours, I do assure.
The most silky lingerie have graced your hips.
Yet I desire that you wear them only briefly.

Come into my arms, I will give you a moment
A moment which will be an eternity of memory.
My hands will explore and caress you lightly
My eyes will burn with lust as they see you.

Let my feast of your pleasures begin in an instant
for at that time you will become mine, no other.
Your passion will take you to another time.
Your sighs will echo through love’s empty halls.

*sigh**sigh* sensually romantic in every way. It fits with the kind of morning I am enjoying here. Well done, Magnus. You write with such a sensuality that I love every word. **hugs**

Love I leave with you whether it is in your life now or yet the essense of your dreams.

I liked this poem a lot!  I particularly liked the opening, with

Can you not feel the thundering of my heart
The raggedness of my labored breathing.
Sense the moisture of my shaking palms
See the beauty of yourself in my eyes.

I wonder, though, why no question mark?

Best wishes,

Glenn Logan
