When Sunlight Falls
By: Noah Eaton
12/8/01

When sunlight falls
Kiss my lips so I can wake
Beside you and look into your lovely eyes
Watching the silver light balm your flesh in the daybreak

Your heart is sweet as a chocolate cherry
The sweetness you bring to my honeyed mouth
The sweetest pang is what your golden hair reflects
Shining as you make love to me, from your heart all the heavens on earth pour out

On dismal days when the sun is fish-netted in gray velvet
I can hear you orchestrate the rain, angel tears fall, silk pearls of white
As our lips embrace, you carry me over the rainbows arch
Into the turquoise glass house in the womb of the sunshine

When sunlight falls
Sail away with me into paradise
Upon these tangerine sundae Tom duBois canvas horizons
Melt with me as our eternal hidden sun will rise

When sunlight falls
Console my yearning sensitive spirit
In your loving arms I find happiness and solace
Like swans, let us leaven on eternity’s abyss

Let us love…ever after…

The taste of love is a taste you will never forget Noah!  Tastes good, doesn't it?  Good write buddy.

Noah,
Loved it, all the imagery was perfect except the last line somehow eternity's abyss didn't fit with the sweet image you painted.  But it did not detract from the pioem.

Here in the midst of my lonely abyss, a single joy I find...your presence in my mind.  Unknown
