        Condensed

Paintings of singular call.
Harangue, hang and brood my wall.
Points of paint induced to meld
Produced while my breath was held.

Brought to a myopic bed.
Mental gold turned pigment lead.
Colors brought to fires bright
Dimensions of hyper sight..

Tender phantoms caught in draw.
Brushed and fixed in pigment store.
Caught and held a final goal
Gems implanted by my soul.

To me they are my total cry
Dramatic as a Van Gogh sky.
Reinforced in poets rhyme.
Memories of my loves and time.

Sprawled to boast to each soul of call
My ghosts that hang upon the wall.

I like this version much better....it is tight, and wraps around me like cellophane...

very very good, Sy-guy....

Keep it up.  I could use a dose or two of you more often, but if I only get one a day...

it's good medicine!

I never saw the other..but I had shadows and ghosts upon my walls every night, made it hard to sleep for these  few  years...I think I have put many to rest now...and maybe they will be visiting others now instead..*s  I enjoy your words, Sy.

Every dream you pen in wisdom's hue ...
paints a self portrait reflecting true.
Every thought you pen in rhythmed rhyme ...
carves your place in infinity's time.

One only needs to read between the lines to view,
I do so treasure my poetic gallery of you.

JM,
Your butterfly wings have mesmerized me.

I enjoyed the read so much...I so would like to see the paintings. It seems, by your poem, that they would reveal a good deal of who you are inside. Yes, of course, your poetry does...but the moods in the color would surely enlighten even more. The words here cause a mystery filtered through illusion, very enigmatic.

VAS,
It's true you can read painting by color, line and direction of line. Thank you for the lovely comment.

This is so lovely ... sometimes we need those ghosts on the wall to remind of who we are.  Your words just seem to capture the essence of the phantoms that live around us all.

Spirit...talent, color of your emotions, captured memories. Expressionism! Sublime. Hugs!
