Mama, I'm hoping you'll hear me
because I am praying tonight.
There’s a friend who needs lovin’ you see
she’s afraid and she’s lost in the night.

Yes, I know I said I would be silent.
But Mama, this voice you can feel.
Every time I came to you for answers
there was something so loving, so real.

Can you reach down with those angel wings?
Just to sing her a sweet lullaby?
Let her hear how the heavens can sing?
Please, she needs you tonight, so do I.

Carolina

Listen carefully to the wind in the trees,
and watch that twinkling starlight. The one you need is there.

As she looks down from above
I know she hears what you think of
Shes there with all of her love
Giving you peace from up above
Singing you a lullaby
comforting you on this night
Her hand will guide you through the way
And no longer lost is where you'll stay
For her love shines ever so true
And anytime you need her you know what to do
Just say that prayer and close your eyes
She'll open her wings as she transcends from the skies

I loved this.Glad to know there are wonderful mothers out there that love their children endlessly.
