Not long ago, but far away, ‘cross waters where the dolphins play, the Princess lived her life within the walls of captured dreams she couldn’t touch, and needs gone unfulfilled as such, the Princess just existed, that was all... But even though her life had been devoid of laughter, and a friend, deep in her heart a childhood dream remained Though try she might, it lingered there, and made the Princess well aware, when Destiny awaits, all things will change... A magic box of power great, became the helping hand of Fate, which held a key of freedom for her soul No longer bound by metal walls, or anger lurking in the halls, She’d found that life went on, beyond the cold... Then one day, normal though it seemed, she met the Prince of whom she dreamed, so long ago, back in her days of youth His Princely charms were bold, yet sweet, he laid his heart there at her feet, and deep within she knew he spoke the truth... She gave her hand, she gave her soul, her heart was far beyond control, on wings of love she flew into the night The Prince awaited in his land, where, by her side, he took his stand All dragons from her past, he vowed to fight... To all who read and pause in thought, from daily life this tale is wrought The Prince and Princess live and breathe as you! It’s not your ordinary tale, no faeries fly or witches wail But sometimes tales are sweetest...when they’re true!! Those medieval tales of knights and ladies and Prince and Princesses always captured me as a child, and they still even fill my imagination as I am older. I love to weave dreams of just such as this believing not in them.
