The Inner Circle Outward Turned

Hands joined together lightly fit
The circle closing tightly knit
The welcome warming now begin
Kindling healing light within

Ah, holy is this silent night
Where dwell we ‘compassed by this light
Let nature sing
Let nature sing….

The oceans of His Majesty
Its secret sounds…perceive
We ask it humbly baptize us
Its blessings to receive

Within the One in All
We place each one by one
We ask it in thy holy name
That here thy will be done

Now arms as branches rising, pointing
Heavenward stretched to His annointing
Feel the gentle breezes playing
Here among us swaying, swaying

Ah, lightly does it touch us
And lightly do we feel it
As the hem of gossamer garment
Of the Living..Healing..Spirit

Thank you everyone for your kind comments.
This poem is based on an actual experience.  If you ever have a prayer circle, try it holding hands with your backs to the center, outward facing. Something about it is magical.

This is a beautiful read, Joe. The outward facing circle must surely heighten inner spiritual healing. You've sculpted this experience with great artistry.
