Reflections A reflection. Mirror image portrayed to my optics, Details all important, even the microscopic. Mental anguishes. Internal and external exposed… A lot gathered from the familiar image that is shown. A Reflection…. A retrospect of past present and future Watching the aging as my youth deteriorates to ruin. Looking back at me in the mirror is a lifeless figure Who is this person is see? He’s no one I can remember. Naked the soul stands.. Exposed to danger Damaged by people, family, and strangers Reflections…. Mirror images of my former self Looking back in the mirror is a stranger.. An image of someone else. |

 (sigh) So funny it does seem to always look back at ourselves and see how we've changed! (smiles) I believe through time, in listening to our loving hearts, we will grow and grow with love! Your topic here is indeed really interesting. A mirror does reflect how we've changed, and I really like the way you talk about reflections. Reflecting on oneself's inner growth, and outter changes. With a lighter note, I'd share my 'unpleasant' encounters with the mirror...  It brings back memories of an adolescent staring at the pimples on her face.  _,,,^.^,,,_ |
