 Sandman By: Noah Eaton 11/14/01 Sandman… Of my dreams Please bring me sweet dreams Of the love I’ll meet Sandman… Spread your fingertips of heaven And have the satellites dance like sugar plum fairies Bowing their starlight hems to my bed How I wonder… Every season has its reason Every sunrise has its lashes of fall And the moon is but a French silk cocoon China doll of the night sky Waiting to become a butterfly Make all my fantasies a life but a dream… Sandman… Sandman… Peeping Tom of eternity Spare me the moonlight for my love When she’ll dance with me Sandman… How you bring tears to my eyes And the world is but a snow dream On a Christmas morning How I wonder… I rest upon this crescent moon Your heart is strung like a ruby in the sky You are my angel from Venus, that I dream to wake and see every morning And as I dream again, I sleepwalk on your heart lovingly… Sandman… Of my dreams Please bring me sweet dreams Of the love I’ll meet Sandman… Sorcerer of the eve I too believe That I may hold my dream How I wonder… I rest upon this crescent moon Your heart is strung like a ruby in the sky You are my angel from Venus, that I dream to wake and see every morning And as I dream again, I sleepwalk on your heart lovingly… [This message has been edited by Mistletoe Angel (edited 11-14-2001).] |

"Mister Sandman, bring me a dream..." My older sister sang this song constantly when I was little. This is a delightful dream fantasy, Noah. I sure hope that Sandman is listening to you, so that your dream girl will show up soon, and you can make her swoon morning 'till noon. |
