I just called you up to tell you-
I don’t love you anymore.
I’ll make it fine without you,
Just the way I did before.

I’ve made a lot plans, girl-
But I feel I must confess…
I don’t love you anymore,
But I don’t love you any less.

My fickle heart betrayed me-
Every day it cries for you.
My arms still reach for you at night,
I don’t know what to do.

My mind tells me, “Good riddance”,
I still dream of your caress-
I don’t love you anymore,
But I don’t love you any less.

I remember when I met you-
Your smile just stole my heart.
We used terms like forever…
Said that we would never part…

I could never love another-
Now that I have known the best-
I don’t love you anymore-
But I don’t love you any less.

Know your feeling there bud...I love her still, the memories and the good times. Too bad she didn't realize there were some too. All she can remember are the bad things and she is so angry...Tim McGraw's current hit "Angry all the time" is a perfect synopsis of our relationship...well I can't offer any advice brother, I am going through the same thing...it does lead to some creative writing though...just keep your chin up...it'll get better!...won't it? lol...Rod

Love is like that it gives pleasure, and radiates pain. Great poem about a too familiar subject.Thanks for sharing.
