Outwardly, I am spent from seeking
deliverance.
I missed the mark and pity my own
reflection.
Yet, I smile.
I still smile knowing
I am beautiful, inside.
Someone told me I was
I believe it-still.

Though the planets revolve around me
my world tilts!
A windmill locks but I hold on and push!
I hurry to and fro
sorting through closets
checking the delivery of my lines,
running from silent terror.

Inside, I am
smooth from erosion,
yet not bruised.
There is an inner ear that cast off
shells cannot reach..
I am strong because no
one carried me.

I am a space that
peace revolves around.
The planets move once more and
healing fills, surrounds me.
Saturn deliver coral lines
Venus release passion!
Sun rearrange!
Moons release the tide,
but no one can carry me-
until I unfold my arms
to reach for them.
Someday I will.

I love the ending to this piece. The whole thing is very good, but I especially like the ending

Hi there, Lady. I enjoyed this work. Perhaps now we can see one where the subject opens their arms to let someone else care for them for a while?

Thank you all so much, yes, perhaps I will continue along the thought of what happens when one opens her arms to love again.

This is a very nice read.  I can sense some
hesitancy,  yet I can see a lot of confidence
and growth....very intriguing...enjoyed it.

Zinsser: yes, out of choice, thank you!

Smitten Kitten: It IS honest and sincere, it truly is, thank you.

Kit: Thank you, that means a lot to me.

Magnus: You are correct, I am hesitant, a bit inhibited.
One day my poetry will be completely and utterly bared.
What a joy the journey is eh?
Thank you for reading.
