Bittersweet Tears

This world holds many sorrows
for in this life today
there will be no tomorrows
with loved ones parted this day.

Bittersweet tears shall flow
beautiful memories we shared
why does the time move so slow
for all those who really cared?

Butterfly kisses for you my dear
as I gaze into the sky
you shall always be very near
as teardrops fill my eyes.

I will carry you in my heart
till that day we shall meet again
for us; we shall never part
God will decide when.

Farewell my darling
memories lasting through the years
butterfly kisses...
bittersweet tears.

Marie - It sounds as though you have some healing to do.  The timbre of this poem is perfect for the emotions you convey.
