You aint nothin but a Saturday night
Goin out with you sure would seem alright
Cuz I got jeans and I got boots
And you gots hair that’s wavin its roots
But we’s in love with the slow dancing
A bottle of bud and we're romancing
Cuz that’s what we like to do
Maybe even wake up with you
I want to be your bestest buddy
We can rope our cows till we get all muddy
And then dance the night away
Honey tell me what you have to say
Cuz you sure look good in those roper jeans
Makes a guy like me look a little less mean
So let’s get out on that disco floor
Baby let’s dance til we can dance no more
Sweetcakes I slap your butt with cheer
Slap me a kiss right here and here
Cuz I sure love you
(For an hour 'r two)
I got a truck that’ll tear up some road
I can haul your mother and not lose my load
Don’t get all teary I know what I've said
You must think some horses ran over my head
I wanna marry you in a rodeo wedding
Got to get it done before your hips start spreading
And the dance floor goes dim
Honey you’re a rhinestone gem.
Chanel number five and a smoky gray
Just for now baby let’s slow dance away…

Nice job, you talked of a horse, truck, mother, and the bottle of bud. That's all it takes to get your honey a moving on that dance floor here in Texas.

Yup..seems like country music material to me. I enjoyed this, Walt. Its been a while since I've seen your lighthearted side.

I love a man in uniform
he can really turn my head,
but give me one in tight blue jeans
and cowboy boots instead.

Yehah! I love this Walt.

Well, as a newcomer to Dallas, I have recently learned how to twostep, and I am hooked.  I have also experienced first hand, there is no gentleman, like a southern gentleman. Great piece Walt.

Walt - I especially like:

I wanna marry you in a rodeo wedding
Got to get it done before your hips start spreading
