For nineteen years I’ve learned my way through thousands of mistakes
I’ve lied awake
Trying to make
Some sense of my heart aches
And in this time I’ve come to learn one truth above the rest
You never let
Yourself regret
When you have tried your best
Tonight I find myself again, familiar with the scene
Thinking of you
Staring into
A blank computer screen
And though I feel things never came to be just as they should
Deep down inside
I know I tried
Everything that I could
So here tonight I dwell on every second that we spent
Hiding from light
Together tight
While hours came and went
And though my thoughts are always with you and the day we met
I’ll never say
In any way
Our time, do I regret

Hey Kevin I really liked this as a poem, and as a message.  It sure made me feel better since I am having another regretful day.
