She was dancing on the field
tears flowing from her eyes
when she hugged her team
Then she came to me
a big smile on her face
I did it Mom
she said
I did it
did you see

And I saw this girl
coming back from Prague
her knee smashed
badly
she got special treatment
they weren't sure
the doctors
It took her seven months
before
she started again
to play softball
the only thing she lives for

I said
Yes, I saw you
I saw you play your game
and win
the National League
she is a real champion
my girl

A rose is a rose is a rose...I guess...

How proud you must be...and what an inspiration for others who have been injured.

What a proud Mom you are, and rightly so. Congratulations to your daughter

If she who dies with the most toys wins, then can I have some toy boys please?

Oh, Titia~
What an uplifting, joyous write~
Give Lynn a *HUG* from me~
Way to go *SPARKS* ! !

Sparks Dutch champion!
OOSTERHOUT (Neth.) - Sparks became Dutch champion on Saturday, winning 7-4 vs. Twins to complete a four-game sweep and win the best-of-seven Holland Series.

This is wonderfully written with motherly pride and love~
*Hugs*

Titia-
   This is wonderful!
It put a great big smile on my face!
And...it brought back memories of my
days on a fast-pitch softball league.
   It was soooo much fun!
Thanks for sharing this special moment with us.
   Hugs,
   ~Vicky

Congratulations to your daughter on the win and to you both for having such a great relationship. And of course, to you, for the poem!
