'twas resting stretched across the bed
I realised that within my head
and heart, are pictures, feelings so strong

I will not deny nor hide these deep rooted emotions, emotions that you fuel, by absence,
or presence,'tis fair to compare thee to
an opious drug addictive, pure yet complex
in its entirety.

You cannot see the silvery tears that flow
from my eyes when stories of historic encounters unfold from your lips, Accounts of past-pasts,
I lend my ear most attaintively

Yet see the wonder in your eyes, a box opened, where once 'twas closed, a gift from you to me,
a christmas gift, that only I can see.

The journey home, may be long and fraught with hazards my love, but love surely will guide the
traveller in his quest for life,

For life itself, is nothing without love.

So much to give....what indeed do we leave behind?

All good things...I should hope!

Well done!

This is just so beautiful. I'm trying to pick out my favourite lines, but I love them all so much.....Well, maybe these are my most favourite
