Morning breaks
wide with smiles
that pour from your lips
onto my sleepy eyes

and warm sunshine
falls with your hand
upon my shoulder.

'Good morning,'
your voice like songbirds
outside the glowing bedroom
window.

Today
and all is well
with me.
