My darling what do you see
in this shape of colors that represent me
do you see a man, who loves you true
or see a heart that burns for you
indite me with thy thoughts

Shall not entertain this quibble
shall not mix my words in haste
shall adore thy woman, of course with grace
fit for a princess, you be

In times of battle, my armour wears thin
so choose I do, to let you in
Swiftness of your tongue
upon thy ear, cutting as it is
embrace you regardless of what sin

Rocks may crumble, and time may tell
but know this my love, I am under a spell
I cannot nor want for it to go
for you, my love, my heart doth show
it all.

Richy

Ah Richy, a tender, lovely write. I would have missed this if Sunshine hadn't bumped it up.I was doing my pub crawls in England when you posted this (and enjoying myself very much...hic...hic   )

If she who dies with the most toys wins, then can I have some toy boys please?

Your words sing with the romance of your love. Very well done. I enjoyed reading this poem.

Love I leave with you whether it is in your life now or yet the essense of your dreams.
