I think I'll scale a mountain,
Or maybe sail the seas.
I'll drive an unused highway,
And climb a couple trees.

From the redwoods of California,
To St. Lucia's beautiful lakes,
I'll get to where I'm going,
No matter what it takes.

I'll circle 'round the world,
Perhaps twice or more.
I'll simply fire up the ignition,
And put the pedal to the floor.

I don't have a destination,
But the world I'm out to see.
I'm not sure where I'll take you,
But I hope you'll come with me.

At 3:AM a better offer is probably not likely.  May I sleep while you drive?  I don't care where you go, anywhere but here will be fine.

this is wonderful!! I like the feel of this, I love just getting in the car and going for a ride, there doesn't need to be a destination in mind cause I'll know it when I get there

Hi, this is great, I have that wanderlust in me also, though it never seems to work out quite like this.

Duncan - Gladly, sleep is overrated anyway.

Marge, SmartChick, Tennessee, and Catalinamoon - Thank you so much for your wonderful comments. Much appreciated.

Krista - Thank you. There's always an open spot for you. Love you!

SEA - I feel you. Sometimes I get lost just to see where it will take me (with my good friend Thomas Guide as backup of course.). Thank you for reading.

Sinister,
My kind of cruisin'.  The only way to go.  I like how you think and write.
