It doesn’t matter any more
What you called love
For you was a game, nothing more
You stole my heart
Into pieces it you tore
With an evil cackle
You threw it on the floor
But after today
It won’t matter any more
You never heard me as you walked away
As I told that there will come a day that you
Need me more than I need you
I’ll find someone, somewhere that really cares
Then with you I shall be done
Then you will want me to love you
But from my life you will be gone
You won’t matter anymore

Poetic justice?
or just poetic license?

Turn your back,
Walk away.
There really will be
A better day.
Just go outside
and look around,
there's lots of ladies
in your playground.

Wanna play in the snow?

Alan, I think this is one of those stages we go through when someone hurts us, the I don't give a damn stage, when you really still do. But it's ok, each time we have to get through it however we can. Anyway, very expressive poem.

Alan
This was wonderful and it showed that you are not one to be beaten by love but one who strives for something better that I'm sure you truly deserve.  Take care.....Sue

Great expression, Alan.  They never do seem to hear  until it's too late, then the are all ears.  It amazes me.  Best of luck to you on your journey.

Pretty strong stuff here.

But from my life you will be gone
You won’t matter anymore

Very strong. I agree with SEA-way to stick it to her. By the way, is it your birthday? Happy birthday if it is. (or was a few days ago-I got here late   )

If she who dies with the most toys wins, then can I have some toy boys please?
