I dwell into my mind for the memory that resides
There is a past, deep entrenched, a lonely past collides
Seeking to find myself amidst friends, many once were
Seldom now into my daily path they come by to care
Where then can reason become my partner?
Have I not too long languished, and squander?

Normal, love they tell great tales, happy rhymes
Love, can be cruel if not for truth in troubled times
Beneath the barriers are edges of, distant despair
Clouded by hopes that never find a moment fair
Normal! As Love is Distant.

I have lost sight of my senses, wandering for answers
Have I met a fate in this state I'm in, and falters?

In eyes so bright, intelligence rare, I saw a light
On face, where beauty shines even in the dark of night
Within, an inner soul, so giving, so loving, care precious
Looking up to the skies I saw, a shining star, so gracious
The smoothness of words expressed from paradise's gates
Meanings, I never could imagine in my lost states
My heart, realised the proximity to beauty and reality

May I ask my reason for the feelings, I dare
Trembling in many ways, I falter in eyes I stare
The words I cannot express as I turn away from pain
The unfolding of another day, I know I'll strain
Coming to accept perhaps that I may continue to hurt
I mean no harm, I ask forgiveness hands outstretched
For I am hurting deep, have been for years passed

Must I enter into my dark past, by the door I seek not
Who I am, and what purpose I serve, I fret
I have no love, no friends, no real reason
Even though I know my heart aches, in tears' emotion
Can I be released from the hurt, I dream to?
For love is within my depleted being, contained
Do I need the touch to be reassured? I do
I too have feelings, I too have a need for love

Respond to my call and let the waves of my heart fill your life with the wonders of love

OMG!   What a powerful and wonderful trip of thought this takes me on! I love it!
