Your Big Chance

You  ride  the  wind
through  space  and  time
to  search  within
subconscious  mind
You  catch  a  wave
from  distant  source
within  your  cave
receive  its  force
You  fire  a  rocket
of  pondering  thought
from  the  depths  of  your  knowledge
before  it's  forgot
~
Your  rocket  explodes
to  magnificent  sparks
with  a  beacon  of  light
alive  in  the  dark
Its  arrow  strikes  true
and  slices  within
to  your  naked  soul
bourn  high  on  the  wind

~
Your  big  chance ...
~
Now  or  never
~
A  deathly  quiet  envelopes  the  earth
surrounds  your  essence ...
til  a  pin  can  be  heard
You  become  the  beacon ...
your  chance  is  now
So  tell  the  world
what  you've  found
~
if
you  can  put  it  in  words
~
and  make  it  quick
they  haven't  got  all  day
~~~
