My Personal Poets Review
By Larry Chadwick

I thought I’d review some poet friends of mine,
Whose words often go dancing through me head.
Midnitesun is one who puts a smile upon my face,
And always makes me glad that her poem I read.

She is a friend on whom I have learned to rely,
One whose judgement I have grown to trust.
And a poetry jousting partner extraordinaire,
Still not afraid to tell me if my poems a bust.

Lucie is a woman whom I offer great respect,
One of courage and willing to offer a dare.
But she isn’t as tough as first you assume,
Other poetry shows she knows how to care.

Interloper I still haven’t fully figured out,
But it is obvious to me that he is sincere.
I concede he’s definitely quite a ladies man,
His intent is to offer the girls a load of cheer.

Balladeer is a man of quite some patience,
Willing to put up with beginners mistakes.
Never making me feel as foolish as I am,
Instead showing, at PIPs, what it takes.

Tracey is the redhead I think of as my cousin,
Too hot to handle but fun to be related too.
I love her style and the things she has to say,
But mostly Tracey I just like that you’re you.

Startime is the woman who offers so much hope,
Cheering on the things that I offer on this site.
I love to see her original posts and sweet replies,
Because they’re always such a nice delight.

Enchantress is of great encouragement to me,
I like to see her poetry she offers up for all.
The fact she is a Nancy Lee like my wife,
Is one of the rarer things I like best of all.

But it is rwood who knows how to light a fire,
And puts the Passion in the name of this place.
Except she's the sister I never ever really had,
Still I like her style and appreciate her grace.

doreen is such a delightful stage queen,
If only she knew how to use her ICQ,
A pity party to which no one's invited,
But we never stopped loving you too!!!!

Where would this ship be without a pilot,
A man that is first class all the way.
Duncan somewhere between being a flirt,
And making things even for the men today.

wayoutwalt the man that comes for WOW,
A place somewhere out near the edge.
But then a poem will touch your heart,
You know he's no where near the ledge.

Kit McCallum my allegory and story goddess,
What an incredible talented weaver of tales.
She inspires me to consider the possilities,
That someday I may be able find my sails!

SEA who always tells of such tender moments,
The ones that remind of so much of my past.
Another person who can touch my heart,
With poetry that in my soul will last.

cpalmer is a personal friend, that I know,
She seems so proper in all of her poetry.
But I'm here to announce the full truth,
She is a prangster and she is a tease!

Sir Robert (William Gruhn) is a gentleman,
To prove it Startime dubbed him a Knight.
His poetry is tender and even sincere,
As a fan I've decided he is alright!

So what I’m really trying to say in this poem,
Can be repeated many times over about everyone.
But that would take too long and I’d wear out,
I just know this is the best place under the sun.

Sin isn't fair, but God got even, grace isn't fair either.  larry c

ROFL!!!!!!!

great job... i'm so riled up i can't see straight!! i can't believe you didn't include my name!!! i'm so upset, i'm crying and weeping and sobbing and as a matter of fact, i may never ever ever ever and i mean EVER come back here again!!  i'm so hurt!! so denied!!

*wait.. gotta get the stage crew to hand me a prop* {psssst... yep, that's it.. ok}

doreen reaches backstage descretely to have the handkerchief passed to her, her hand slightly brushing the palm of  the man they call "the Mover" (stage crew names are pretty much simplistic, y'know? move a couch, move a backdrop... whatthehellever.... and then she spoke....... (AGAIN???, the crowd chanted in unison)

"OMG!!!! I'm trouble again???" *wringing hands and small towels drenched with tears*.......

Now you've done it. Made me wipe away a tear. If not for your constant playfulness, my jousting fun here at Pips would not even exist, except perhaps a few playful replies to the other cast of characters who grace the stages here.    YAY PIPS.
And Lucie is a formidable jousting opponent, you wrote her well. And for all the others, you've captured a bit of their hearts here as well.     This is a wonderfully sweet poem, Larry.

doreen,
Sweetie, you don't respond to replies in your poems. Maybe this is all a conspiracy to motivate you. Silence seems to be a two way street. Or is our ICQ broken too.   Okay, you are in my poem. ROTFLMAO to your responses!

Walt,
You snuck up on me there pal! How in the world did you sneek by on this little poem. I should never have left you out.

Midnitesun,
Well golly...just tellin' the truth!
Can you get double discounts for joining AARP a second time?!

Tracey,
This place is way cool, cuz! Wished I had been clever enough to plan my 500th but then again I would have just gotten mushy.

Lucie,
Don't misunderstand me,
You're funny as can be.
But what I like the most,
A chance for a good roast!

doreen,
Geesh. There's no pleasing some people! LOL

Sunshine,
I'm still learning, but sure that is obvious.

Sure, I'm good enough to pilot your poetic plane but not a verse I warrant here.  Just kidding, Larry and btw...thanks for not accepting my offer.  Maybe next time, I'll be a bit more specific to avoid confusion.  You do crack me up.

Startime,
Wow, thanks for all those kind words.
You make this such a wonderful place. Thank you.

Nancy Lee,
Thanks, I always enjoy your participation in this lovely place. You have made me feel so welcome here!

Balladeer,
Every word is true, thank you so much for your help. I have great respect for your kindess and integrity. Thrilled to be your friend. And what a fabulous poet you are. Yet another inspiration for me. Bless YOU.

Regina,
What a great sport you are to put up with me. It is indeed a pleasure   and an honor to share this place with you. And sis, that kiss...

Kit,
I am so ashamed. You rank at the top of my list as the epitomy of the writing technique I envy and adore. And I left you out!   But go see, a last minute save!

Thank you everyone! I never dreamed anything on the internet could actually enrich my life. Wow, was I ever wrong. Thank you so much.
