on the horizon of a fairytale

Somewhere….

Somewhere in a memory
there is a touch
a touch that warms
and chills in it’s caress

there is a kiss
a kiss so soft
yet intense with passion

somewhere in a memory
there is a whispered breath
shared between two
one which is heard in volumes

there is a love
gentle and slow
yet fierce with desire

somewhere in a memory
the promise of forever leaves
and a dying heart lives in longing…

Beautiful and tender write of loving memories.  Well written AWC...

On the wings of words our spirits fly....and our souls are free.

Annie, this is beautiful.  Simply beautiful.

Well, I have to say I wasn't sure how well this would go over. There are so many contradictions I just wasn't very sure about it. I thank each of you for the very generous replies.

Thanks.....

Hi, to bad this poem is all the way over in the closed forum. I didn't see it before Interlopers poem, and I think it is very good, says much of the way we feel about memories.

I am so pleased I didn't miss this one this morning!  Lovely yet sadly haunting.
Hugs, Nancy.
