Deep in the heart

0 posted 2001-11-08 09:02 AM

Sweet lady
of yon castle keep
know thou
as long as I live
or sit this charger,
thee shall never be alone.
Take thee this heart
keeping it close to thine.
I pledge thee my sword,
my honor, my love.
Whilst thee cannot see me
know I exist in thy life.
I shall ride to thee
when thy heart is prepared.
I shall rescue thee
when cold, gray stone
no longer describes thee.
Until then
I await thy re-transformation
to beautiful, vibrant woman.

Promises, promises ...hahaha
Excellent piece!!
Now I see why the ladies praise you!

The days of old
when the ways were bold
chivalry was more than a thought

Days are now cold
our Knights have been stoled
but their undying love well sought

Lovely response to Sandra's write!
She'll like this.
You must spend most of your life upon a brave steed m'lord!
Whilst the fair damsels watch from the parapet for your arrival.
Warning!
Beware of strange creatures within the moat!

Knights with shining amour can play( note to Robert A).
This is quite good, 'loper. Seems as if you are stimulated daily by the fair maidens of Pipsland.

I think it's time for some folk to understand that just because I use the word "I" in my work, that does not necessarily mean I am talking about me.

The trick is for you to be able to discern the difference.

And if you can't, Ok with me
