Listening to every heart

Welcome the Day

Eastern light broke forth amid
the trill of meadowlark
skies of blue meet blue
as horizon's green embarks
to greet the day entwined
to know the warmth therein
letting loose but for a moment
tho their hearts hold love within

and through an open window
across the shining land
we can see the meadow
and the ocean's sand
and people binding hearts
and standing hand in hand.

Beautiful...thank you for the sunrise.

Karilea~

I heard the trill of meadowlark
rise across the dawn
It bathed me in poetic dew
to greet the break of dawn

It took my very breath away
to hear sweet nature sing
Then in glide across my path
I saw the song on wing

Thank you for the jubilation of inspire~
