Soft Feelings

The fire spreads its warmth
throughout the room
casting a soft glow that
matches the one in my heart

Winds howl against the windows
rattling in time to unknown music
and I feel my heart try to keep
pace with love’s vibrations

Soft music flows into my limbs
carrying me along on it gentle
path as my body responds to
the caress of sweet love songs

Words so softly speaking of
romance, fill my mind with
yearning to hold the heart of
someone writing love poems

The fire, the winds, the music,
the words all come together this
night bringing sighs to my lips
and Soft Feelings to my heart

(sigh) And someday you will feel the beating of his heart to yours, and he'll forever recite his love songs to your heart! (smiles) Soooooo beautiful, sweet Karen, I love it! (kiss on cheek) You have such a beautiful heart, sweet star, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

I think you need to change your pen name.
Startime....Showtime?.....such a time?...
What a time?...Aw heck...leave it...just
continue to write your romantic spells over
us...we will know who you are...even if you
don't use a name at all...Beautiful, Karen.
I love this poem.
