Then Upon The Set Of Sun

~*Marge Tindal*~

Lord, you gave me sunshine
out across the break of day
with soft breezes blowing
gently through my mind

You sent the sounds of laughter
in the children at their play
capturing all the magic
of their smiles

Then upon the set of sun
you brought my comfort home
and spread the stars to twinkle
across my evening sky

As I hug the loved ones
that you placed in my life
I count the many blessings of this day
I wondered if you knew, Lord
how thankful that I am
So let me take a moment
just to say ...

How generous thou art ...
In trying to say thanks, I come up short ...
For you give so much, asking little in return
May I greet tomorrow
living the lessons I have learned ~
To love another ...
as you have loved us all ~

=============================

from someone who comes up short far too often
I thank you for this...I needed this tonite, more than you could know...more than even I knew till I read it......
thank you for being you..
heart hugs and healing to you Margie
me

Well tomorrow holds only mystery
And who's to say what might be
But in you I found a love so strong
The sun and the moon looked on in jealousy

We still have so much to be thankful for..even as bad as this situation is it could have been even worst, except for God's intervention, and the wisdom he is imparting to our leaders during these times. Freedom suddenly has become dearer and sweeter to us all. I enjoy everything you write.

Marge:  This has such a peaceful, thankful feeling to it.  To read it is to feel some of that too.  Just lovely!
