I've spent my whole life searching for a woman whose love would be true
But I honestly didn't think that kind of love was meant for me, until I met you
Now my days are filled with a happiness within
I long for the day when our life together will begin

You light up my life, you bring love to my each and every day
I reach out my hand to you, and pray that you always stay
I've never loved anyone the way I love you my dear sweetheart
Not sure when I fell for you, perhaps from the start

I close my eyes as I anticipate your sweet kiss
To feel your arms around me would bring me such bliss
One day this won't be just a dream, it will come to pass
I'll feel your love beside me, finally at long last

On that fateful day with tears falling from my eyes
I'll thank the Lord above, as I raise my head to the skies
We've got a lot of living, and a lot of loving to do too
Forever and always, I shall ALWAYS love you

Put your hand in mine, trust in what we share
I'll always pick you up, be around to always care
Your love snuck up on me, out of the clear blue
When I look inside my heart, staring back is you

I thought I was in love before, I guess it was based on a fantasy
For I didn't feel true love, till your love touched me
Please know these words are true, they represent how I feel
The love inside this heart, is sincere and very real

Through all the years to come, by your side is where I want to be
Want to share with you each day, feel our love for eternity
I know they say all things must end, that nothing can last forever
But even in this world beyond, you and I will remain together

Our love was destined from the beginning, it was written in the stars above
I honestly feel our love has a blessing from the Lord above
The path may be long, there will be times we might feel sad and blue
But I make this solemn vow for as long as I shall live...I will love you.

"I could kiss you in
the rain forever.
Turn all of your pain to pleasure
Fill up your days with
sunlight, make the
passion last every night"

*sigh*. This is gorgeous Amy. You write your feelings so well. You are both very lucky to have found each other. This love truly sounds like heaven on earth.

If she who dies with the most toys wins, then can I have some toy boys please?

I really really love this line!! So romantic... So glad you've found true love! ^.^

If only we could read what's written in the stars, it'd save us a lot of trouble searching for the one...

*sigh* I used to feel this way about someone. Arg...it's true what they say about some things not lasting forever. Oh well... I sincerely hope it all works out for you.

Absolutely beautiful. I know I searched for my love of a lifetime for, well my whole life. I found him, and that makes it all worth the wait. *SMILE*
